Don't get carried away. The man resigned and it's not the end of the world for the PPP or Guyanese politics.

This is the corroded thinking of opportunists and political dwarfs in Guyana today . . . and on GNI.

Bai, Alex doesn't have to be a success. He is a failure, that's true. But this about Guyana. You need to look at the thing objectively.

Moses' political timing is off the radar. He got some bad advice from Churchill, Jalil and the others. Moses can't function well in the AFC. What position will they give him? He can't function well in APNU. What will he get? Moses will have to be on the sidelines mouthing the ills of the PPP. Who will really listen? Guyanese are not stupid.
I invite you to read Moses's statement carefully where he gave his reasons for his resignation.....no one influenced him in his decision.....

Moses' reasons have been read carefully but it does not add or subtract from the political equation at present.

That is because you did not abstract any of his warnings and complaints. He stated they were corrupt and actively sought to put their chosen one in power by circumventing established process. If they do that to their own loyalist and flag bearer what the hell do you think is their side of the political equation?quote:Originally posted by Alexander:

D2. What do you mean " He stated they were corrupt and actively sought to but their chosen one in power by circumventing established process?" This makes no sense and is not English.

...."I was hounded from the party leadership. For protesting against wrong-doings I was deemed to have resigned from the partyâs Executive Committee. Then after the 2008 Congress, I was excluded by devious methods"...The most grievous of these practices were public attacks on me for standing up against the threat to derecognize the sugar workers union, GAWU, and the exclusion of party members in what was a flaw-dulent process by which the presidential candidate for the 2011 elections was selected. The elementary practice of consultation was derailed".... The minor typo did not make it Swahili.quote:Originally posted by Alexander:

You are very dishonest. They FIXED the internal election so Ramotar can win. Mr Nagamootoo is a lot more popular among the PPP grass root supporters. Had it been a open process and not SHOW OF HANDS either Mr Nagamootoo or Mr Ramkarran would have emerged as the candidate. TO FIX MEANS TO RIG!

Why does it make sense? Since you contest it, have a go at its grammar and syntax and I will demonstrate it makes perfect sense in every possible way.quote:Originally posted by Alexander:

You went back and reedited the sentence. Since when, does " He stated they were corrupt and actively sought to but their chosen one in power by circumventing established process" make sense or is accepted English?

I have your betters acknowledging I am smart and both you and him have an option to examine the sentence he claim is flawed to demonstrate that it is.quote:Originally posted by SuperMike:quote:Originally posted by Alexander:

It doesn't have to be demonstrated. Read it and read it again. It does not make sense. It is not English. And you are supposed to be the consummate writer of English and a know all.

I did not edit the sentence. I edited one letter that you clearly could have seen was a typo. English makes sense even if you miss close to 50 % of the words as long as you have the grammar in place. To say it did not make sense was disingenuous. To say it was not English was silly. You happen to be a teacher and ought to know better but you felt you can take a cheap shot. You picked the wrong guy. Pick on dunces like SMquote:Originally posted by Alexander:

Don't say it is not English. demonstrate it is not. Try so I can wipe your silly behind across the floor for blatant stupidity.quote:Originally posted by Alexander:
