Too stiff of a penalty.

The woman should be made to do community work, not jailed for handing out some punani and ketchin' some cash. Then again that's some serious dough for punan, it musta been nice and fresh to demand that kinda price.

I feel terrible for the poor 5 kids now without their mother.

I blame that man. Here was a woman in financial need forced to sell her mobile phone so she could buy supplies for her children. That man took advantage of the woman's vulnerable position and secured sex. If the woman is at fault, it is that she stole only money but neglected to take the man's pants and shirt and shoes too. 

Some women (bobbitt type) woulda taken his dong too.

Ann always had boyfriend. No shortage of men there.

It was the right decision to lock her up. Guyana full of thieves. We can only clean up the place if we show no leniency to criminals who have no intention of making a living in a legal and honest way.

She is a woman with five kids. You telling me that she had no previous experience in sexual contacts? With five kids I would say that she is not vulnerable, but a habitual menace to men.

Although we do not know the age of the kids , I am assuming that they are young. With five mouths to feed that lady was coerced to sell her body. I mean it is not right to steal but the penalty  of 18 months is too much.

I wonder what will happen to her children and if that will not turn to crime to feed themselves. From the slums of India to the poor all over the world, the system is rigged against them.

You talk lil sense here Chief. The woman should have been given probation, counseling and some financial help. Who would you blame if her children become criminals? It has to be the judge who sentenced her to jail. Maybe this judge should be thrown off the bench and let her prostitute herself for a living.
