Thanks Gil for remembering. I have fond memories of this man at Port Mourant with PYO and his mother in their battam house, that I photographed in the 1960s.

It was at this time I took our two younger children to Disney World, Guyana  and Tortola BVI on a five week trip.

While at Port Mourant, my friend and brother of Cheddi, Oudit, spoke proudly  about his brother while walking in their back yard and kitchen garden, as I video recorded it.

Oudit told a story, which tells a lot about quality of Cheddi. His father told him if the climb the ginep tree in their yard he might fall down. Cheddi climbed, he fell down,  brush off his back side and climb again.

There is talk about the restoration of Burnham's tomb, was the restoration of Cheddi's  cremations site not as important ?

Of course, it's important. The government needs agreement from the PPP, however, in order to do any restoration work. And right now the PPP is operating in non-cooperation mode.

Non-cooperation is most unfortunate, because the people of Guyana might lose the most.

Not only on tomb restorations, but for Guyanese to go forward for all equally, as a Guyanese nation.

Now this is utter nonsense!!!!!  When did the PPP oppose the restoration of Cheddi's cremation site???

My PPP comrades on GNI Political are so engrossed with cussing down Burnham that they forgot Dr Cheddi Jagan.

May Dr. Jagan rest in peace. He made a valuable contribution to Guyana.

His association with communists and socialists hurt Guyana and Guyanese. It was his biggest political blunder.

His children appear to be confused with Joey working to destroy his parents party.

That is his legacy.
