Muhyiddin, Dr M attend PPP New Year bash

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday attended the New Year open house held by the People's Progressive Party (PPP) at Putra World Trade Centre here.

Muhyiddin's wife, Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman, was present, together with about 5,000 visitors as well as former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.

Guests had local food and were and entertained by performances from Putrajaya Corporation.

Muhyiddin handed out hampers and cash aid to senior citizens and orphans from about 20 welfare homes in the Klang Valley. Bernama
