Stingaaaaghhhhhh.......revenge is sweet and the Game 6 escape you had is an anomaly of Pops coaching - leaving Duncan on the bench when the Spurs had the trophy in their hands./

Regarding my floodin de damn political arena wid nonsense, what is your fear? What is it that you disagree with about my posts? Educate me please.

OKC problem last night is that they don't know how to manage the their possessions. They were up two with only two normal possessions left in the game and instead of setting himself up for a quality shot, Durant jacked up a three and missed only to have the Spurs return it for a deuce. Pop said yesterday that Leonard is the future of the Spurs "only because the others are older than dirt."   Pop seem a bit more jovial this post season than in past ones. Thursday night is sooooooooo far away.

Don't forget that the Spurs had this dangerous Miami defense on the ropes in Game 6.

The Heat are a fantastic offensive team, that brings to mind the Jordan Bulls of the 90s. Their defense is also swarming and smart like those Bulls. The only difference is that the Bulls didn't have to face a smart team like the Spurs and should the Heat win this year I'll have to put them up there. But beat the Spurs first. I also think that sports fans by now should have a great regard for Spoelstra's coaching ability. We all know about LeBron being one of the top 10 all-time NBA players (Wilt, Russel, Michael, Oscar Robertson and Kareem all being in the top 5).

But do not disregard a team that has a better Finals record than this Heat team and smart players like Parker, Duncan, Leonard, Green and Ginobli.

I agree. Even LeBron, Wade and Bosh asked us fans not to take it for granted. I do believe that this Heat team is better than the one last year because they have a healthier Wade shooting at a plus 500 clip. Many mistakenly regarded this year's team for not being as good because they considered the 27 games wins streak Vs. the way the Heat ended this season. I have come to regard this years lackluster season end to be more about indifference to the regular season if it will prepared them for a better post season. Wade being given nearly 30 games off is looking like a good return on that investment. Likewise, as old as the Spurs seem every year, they have managed to stay competitive mostly because of their experience and Pop's skills. But I still like our chance because we have the King who has come a far way from 2011. Watching KD last night reminded me of LBJ before he lost the 2011 Finals. KD needs that missing ingredient and maybe he can pick LBJ's brain in the off season since they are good friends.

Vogel gets to keep his job. Maybe he deserves it having placed his team in a good position the past three years. Too bad for him, he ran into the MJ and Bulls of our era.
