It is a deceptive case. It looks easy on paper but if you examine it in detail then it becomes a hard case to prove in a court of law.

Isn't it the same court system your hopeless leaders have been running to on election matters?  BTW, isn't Datadin one of Bisram's lawyers?  The Guyana court system is similarly corrupt as justice systems around the world.  

A lawyer can represent any client. That’s how the legal system works. A good lawyer only takes on cases that he feels that he can win and given that jackass Ramjattan is leading the pack, they will chose to defend a client. Everyone is presumed innocent until found guilty. The idiot here is Ramjattan. 
The family is the biggest loser because they believed Ramjattan and his hapless prosecutors. 
A settlement of over 200 million was offered because the real killers are already behind bars but the family declined because of improper advice from Team Ramjattan. 

A life is priceless.  I hope the family gets a good lawyer and fight in civil court for the 200 million settlement.

Bai don’t join the jackass crew. A settlement was offered by Bisram before the case. Now the family holds Katahar because he incurred that amount in legal fees. That why people don’t need to follow a jackass like Ramjattan. The real killers are already behind bars. Case closed.

How are they going to get the money? Who is going to take the case? Out of Bisram's guilty conscience, he should offer to compensate the family.

All the people who did the crime are in jail. If the money was passed, it was done so for not allowing those jailed comrades to be witnesses. Some middleman got some heavy cash.
