The AFC has several Muslims as candidates.

They are too busy trying to package themselves as distinguished diplomats, authors, and intellectuals because they lack the courage to stand up to nepotism, corruption and bullism.

This is twenty years ago statistics, needs to be updated.

There are 140 Masjids is Guyana, and the last count taken a year and a half back placed the count as 84,000.

Using this amount based on a population of approx 750,000 would placed the muslim population in Guyana to be between 11 - 12 percent.

The majority of muslims in Guyana over 75 percent is alligned to the CIOG and CIOG has a very good relationship with the Government of Guyana, although they do not tell their membership who to vote for....it has been normal practice for the majority of muslims to vote PPP.
