Vish may rub some people the wrong way, and he may have his own inimitable style, but like Kid, I have to agree that he is the genuine article in his advocacy. He may not necessarily have the right arguments at times, but his passion and integrity are unquestioned.

Its not discrimination that facility has had a lot of issues with gangs and scarfs they have a no head scarf policy. You have to understand local sensitivities to this issue. I have family who live there.

They take this head scarf thing seriously they also go after kids who have scarfs hanging out their back pocket etc. to ensure there is no gang activity at that Rye facility.

It was a safety issue taken out of context. If her scarf got caught in any higger-majigger and popped her neck, people would be picketing. There was nothing wrong done by the park or police, just people tryiny to make a point.

Compared to #63 beach recently, where they had a merry-go-round ride for children.

There was no safety barrier between the ride swinging and many children walking around. One hard hit on the head would have caused severe injury to a child.
