Mystery solved: Africo Selman’s $3.1M cheque

This pay stub for a cheque made out to the APNU’s….sorry PPP’s…Africo Selman for $3.12M has been a bit of a mystery all day, but finally it is solved.

It’s a payment from the Ministry of Finance for gratuities owed to her as part of her eight years as an MP. Selman resigned on February 26 just two days before the National Assembly was dissolved. The rest of the MPs will have to wait until after the elections to get their cheques.
