Who is the PPP fooling.  They wanted Rodney dead as much as the PNC did.  They told Rodney to stick to the blacks, so that the PNC vote could be split.  They told him to stay away from the Indians, as this group belonged to them.

When Rodney began speaking to Indians, as he sought to remove ethnic voting, the PPP became angry.

This CoI was just an attempt to embarrass the PPP.  I look forward to a CoI over Sat Sawh's death.  The PPP claimed the knew who was responsible for planning his death (which isn't the same as to who actually executed his death). So why no attempt to arrest those guilty of planning this heinous crime?

It is truly weird that a long standing member of a party, who becomes a senior minister, can be assassinated, with almost no repercussions.

The PPP doesn't care the slightest about Walter Rodney, as they made no attempt to govern according to his wishes.

All that happened was that an ethnic dictatorship was in power by rigging, because their tribe was outnumbered, was replaced by another ethnic dictatorship, which didn't have to rig as, at least until 2006, their tribe was by far the largest.
