One movie in which Nanda played a lead role was Gumnaam, opposite Manoj Kumar. I watched that movie three times at Monarch cinema on West Demerara.

Bollywood selects India's most glamorous people. Nanda came from a showbiz family. Her uncle, V. Shantaram, a Bollywood mogul, launched her career. His daughter, Rajshree, was a pretty actress also.
Rafi often said he got to meet pretty ladies like Nanda on the movie sets for rehearsal of his songs.
