I read somewhere that say Jamaican Airlines will travel Guyana route from October or November this year. I think after the expansion of CJIA, Guyana will have its own National Carrier (Air Guyana).

And you can wail about high fares.  Checked and CA is charging US$900 JFK to GEO for August.  POS is about US$50 cheaper.  If seats are in short supply fares will be high and Trinis are having to deal with this just as Guyanese are.

Like GAC, GA2000 and I can find more names of carriers which perpetrated themselves as Guyanese carriers.

Where are they today?  Does it do much for Guyana's PR to be so often victimized by failing fly by nights, while being unable to attract credible carriers?
