Nehru Bhai. I have been calling for the inclusion of Narine a long time ago. Indo Caribbean cricketers are not being given a fair shake in the WI. WI needs to pick the best team regardless of race.

The West Indies need to do a better job scouting the NZ attack and play batsmen that would negate their strengths - like in baseball. From what I saw of the 2nd innings the pacers were dominant against the left-handers (Shiv included). The right-handers (judging by the highlights) were more comfortable.

Kari, It will make no difference. Except for Shiv, Sunil and Gayle who is currently injured, the rest are a waste of time. Tino Best cant bowl period. I must add young Bravo to the side.

When he was 9 years old the Guyana Chronicle sports reporter Nicole Cave predicted that Shiv would be a great West Indies batsman one day. When I heard that I was thinking she was referring to an adult Guyanese batsman or at least a batsman in his late teens.  When I found out that the youngster was a child and was only 9 years old I did not take Nicole seriously. In the back of my mind I was thinking how a batsman as good as Seeram or Timur not have a permanent position in the West Indies team and this young child is predicted by Nicole Cave to be a great West Indiese batsman.  After all these years Ms.Cave's prophecy was right.

Shiv has more not out test hundreds than anyone in the history of cricket. Think about if he had more partners to continue batting or if the game wasn't over because of a victory, what other records he would have had.
