The 20 persons listed on the payroll who do not work at NCN are all stationed at the Office of the President as “media monitors” for a unit that was set up by former Information Liason to the President, Kwame McCoy.

The Unit was set up under the Jagdeo presidency and has remained in place ever since. It’s main function is to monitor the local news media and social media pages of media personalities and public figures and come up with counter arguments and positions to their posts and letters in the press.

So now we know where albert, conscience and DG are on the payroll.

At leas the management at NCN were quick to finger the thieves. Let's hope that many more government offices follow this example. Nobody should lose their job if they are actually carrying out some useful task and to the highest standard.
