yuji22, Gilbakka does not mix with "Indo Guyanese Canadian". This I can say: Dat new poodoop party is going to split the Indo votes which is not good news for PPP. In 2020 PPP will need every Indo vote and more to clinch victory. I'm sure PPP will soon kick this new poodoop party to the curb as soon as BJ hears about them.

There might be other parties doing the same with the coalation votes...time will tell.

Guyana does not need PPP nor PNC to move forward it has already been shown this.  I still keep fingers and toes crossed, this government  do what is right for the country and not for themselves. 

I am thinking of spearheading the GNI party (Guyana Nation Improvement).

Congratulation to the People's Democratic Party. Political parties in Guyana will be for generations to come. Many political changes will be made within the next two decades. Political Parties will fall and other will rise to the occasion. I have spoken to many qualified individuals who have their heart fix on Guyana, but finance and support failed them miserably. People in Guyana are fed up with politics and politicians. They tend to undermined any new candidate as crooks based on the failure of other parties. However, I will not be too quick to discount this organization as another mumbo-jumbo party. Instead, I would congratulate their effort and wish them the best in their political endeavors.

I agree with baseman: The party is too Indo centric. 

I also agree that the party will cut into the PPP votes, but then again, the PPP will have to strive for Afro votes as well. The party vision will have to change to embrace all Guyanese across racial lines. Not only Indians again.

The country does need another political force. A serious one. Your point of a Christian Democrat is a good one. Regardless of the polarization, there is no crediable voice that can reverse the polarity.

I know the popoular trend is to get Ram Karan to lead something. Just like Moses Nagamootoo, he has no vision. They all claim CBJ was their mentor, even CBJ was visionless.

My feeling is the WPA can be revived, but Africanist David Hinds gat the organization wrapped up in his Cuffy mentality. The WPA is in the same mode as TUF under Manzoor Nadir.  

Ralph Rank will not stop until he is the leader of the PPP and President of Guyana even if he has to wait until he is 120 years old.  It is all about the rank. The man played a key role in the victory of Jranger. Let him be honored by Jranger like his brother.
