I can't believe these two were expecting amnesty when they should be in jail.

Dat Banna used to falsely call other people thieves. Karma caught up with him. Jail him if he see not pony up, he should not be allowed to rob the Guyanese people 3.8 BILLION.

Amnesty, negotiated/compromise settlement, is no longer on the table.  They were fools to go all the way to the regional court and lose.  Pay up, Govt has no reason to do anything else!

Glenn Lall behaved as if he was above the law. PNC will teach him the biggest lesson of his life. He was probable shocked when he lost the case and was ordered to pay up.

He now has to play nice with the PNC or end up in jail.

There is no jail.  He did what any lawyer would do, he lost, now his client must pay up.  If not, the GRA can move on his clients assets.  It's purely a tax/civil issue.

Unless he fraudulently evaded taxes.  In this case, it was in court and the court decided, so the matter is closed. GRA has their process to collect!

I have no sympathy even though Yasin is an old friend.  Had he asked me for advise, I would have advised to engaged Statia much earlier and negotiated a fair settlement.
