This is so wrong and should raise the collective ire of good Christians in the land and everywhere they should cry out in unison and condemn this blasphemy. Lets say it plainly; the PPP are to the good of Guyana as Judas is to Christ.
Christ is god. No one cannot be like god. The PPP is not our god. They have risen by graft to the proverbial class of men who would have more difficulty than a camel in passing through the eye of a needle. They are the good seeds that missed the fertile soil and are withered of any benefaction to the world by their choosing of the stony soil of collective crookedness. They can bear us no fruit.
On a day as today when christian gather to celebrate the divinity of Christ rising from the grave to offer us hope, we should not hear of christ-like comparatives with the PPP. The lie is grotesque and contaminate the very thought of what is good in the eyes of the Christ.
This is the second occasion where reverence should be the message that we see the PPP trying to co-opt the theme to their benefit. Poor cheddie could not get the afterlife due him by the muses to hear praises sing to him on his day of remembrance. Instead the shrill cries of opportunistic politicians perverted the day
Today is a day of exultation among Christians. It is a day of most pious holiness and one completely devoted to things to the divine gift of immortality. It is not an opportunity to make of themselves Christlike effigies and claim like he they are crucified in the mortal world unfairly. They are crooks not Christlike.
