It is the most terrible outcome but we have to respect the American people. I said they always get it right and maybe, nativism, is right for them this time. Trump will be the most powerful president in our present era. He has all the branches of government with him.

He is the worse thing one can want in a democratic society. It tells that democracy is very fragile.
Every white male and Mexican American male I spoke to was voting for Trump.
Hold your horses there Danyael. He has to win Michigan and Wayne County where Detroit is is yet to come in.
too late Kari

Why may pull out a razor edge win in MI but she is too far behind in Wisconsin. He already flipped two blue counties.

If he does as he said he will do We might as well leave. I cannot abide by a nation that asks everyone in a religion to register as he said he will do with muslims. He might just be talking but if he pulls back obama care, cancels funding to planned parenthood, roll back Roe vs wade, start kicking people out of the country we would be in a mess.
He will not help Guyana if the Venezuelans come over.

Canada's immigration website just crashed
The Government of Canada's immigration website crashed on Tuesday night as the US election results were rolling in.
The site went down around 10:30 pm ET Tuesday, followed by intermittent accessibility.
Around 9:00 PM eastern on Tuesday evening, CNN announced that a number of key states in the election including Michigan, Ohio, Virgina and Florida could all swing in Republican nominee Donald Trump's favor. And Google search traffic to the Canada story began to surge.
(Virginia has since been won by Clinton and Florida by Trump).

Danyael like he knows that the fat lady is not going to sing tonight because she is afraid of being groped by Trump.

Wayne County votes didn't come in. Many blacks had left for states like NC, GA, and TX, where the GOP won. And those who are remained didn't see any reason for voting.
Apparently they listened to Obama, but decided that he didn't leave any legacy that they felt worthy of saving.
Now you will learn to stop arguing when I am educating you.
Maybe the Democratic party will learn to respect its voting base, and to understand what the broader population was trying to tell them. The Obama recovery was slow. It took too long for job growth to occur. Many of these jobs were low paid. Many people were hurting. But Obama lost interest in the economy by early 2010, lost the House later in the year, and the rest is history.
Of course I told you this in 2010, but you hysterically screamed that I am an Obama hater who wanted welfare from him, as I am a lazy bum who refuses to work.
The fact that the Democrats couldn't beat the biggest idiot to run for president. A man who lacks a basic grasp of governance, and who really has no idea what to do. Yet he wins by a landslide, as measured by the electoral vote.
Apparently those niggro slaves didn't vote as their massas demanded that they do.
And I wonder where that massive Latino turn out in FL went to!

This was because they were looking at old racists in the rust belt and got kneecapped by a fifth column of bigots that include your Starbucks baristas who had it in for you as well. The nightmare begins.
Exit polls show that Trump did better than did Romney with the Latino vote.
Hillary had "experts" who know nothing about communities opining on what other communities will do. Did any one tell her that the Hispanic vote doesn't exist, but a Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican and Central American does. And that a Puerto Rican in FL is very different from one in NY. I think they got too excited about the increase in the Latino vote in FL, and didn't understand that the largest components aren't people who will be impacted by Trump's threats for massive deportation.
Blacks went for Trump by 8% with Hillary only getting 88% of the black vote. And this on top of a lower turn out in critical states.
It was pathetic hearing CNN say that the Hillary team was still hopeful about MI and WI because of votes from Detroit and Milwaukee. Well the votes weren't there in the numbers that they anticipated and its no coincidence that these two cities house some of the poorest blacks in the USA.
Imagine Trump the bigot out performed Romney among blacks and Latinos. Goes to show how out to lunch the Democratic party is.
I remember warning folks that 45%+41% was equal to 86% and not 100%, so I queried where is this 4% Hillary lead. Well it turns out that the "forgot" about the 14% who were "undecided" or voting for Johnson.
Well Johnson got fewer votes than the polls indicated. Maybe folks too ashamed to admit to pollsters that they planned to vote for Trump, but were embarrassed.
I suggest that Huffington needs to listen to Nat Silver next time, and not scream at him because he doesn't want to adhere to their partisan views. He did point out real risk in the Midwest.
Trump will turn out to be a great President. Just wait and see. I did say the man is much smarter than many give him credit for.
I said from the beginning Hillary should have chosen a woman as vice president. If she had chosen Connie Rice the ticket would have been in a much better shape than that useless white man. I hope Hillary sticks around and gets another run for President. I hope she learn from her mistakes.
Trump did remarkably well among Independents. Blacks and Millennials did not go for Hillary the way they did for Obama in 2012. The Hispanic gap was not as big as expected. There is some real change in this election. The first outsider not the first female.

Blacks voted 88% for her and 8 % for him. This is not on their backs. Hispanics give him 30 % Asians also did not give him anything. In general, this was driven by racism, nativism, insularism and anti globalism.
