Nomination of Perry Holloway to Be U.S. Amb. to Guyana No Longer Before the Senate for Confirmation

On December 17th 2014, the nomination of Minister-Counselor Perry Holloway was returned to the President under Senate Rules as the Senate was about to adjourn sine die.

However, today is February 26, 2015, a full two months into the new session of the Senate and no one at the State Department has thought to return the nomination of Perry Holloway to the Senate as is customary in a situation such as this. Especially as this is a non-controversial nomination of a career Foreign Service Officer to a post no one cares about that would be normally approved by unanimous consent agreement in Committee and on the floor.

Has Guyana found another way to annoy some clerk at the State Department again?
