The independence of the ranks in the 10_party coalition of the APNU will be muzzled by the Opposition Leader, David Granger holds the proverbial "sword of Damocles" over the members of Parliament from the other nine parties and that they will have to "toe the line" when it comes to their presentations in the house.

To date, James Mc Callister, formerly of the People's National Congress Reform, has been the only victim of the recall legislation after the then opposition leader Robert Corbin had declared he was asked Mc Callister to vacate his seat.

Hot head RUMjattan and foul mouth Moses are proving to be liabilities for the AFC. Sadly they AFC left out the most even headed Gerhard out of parliament.

This will in the end prove to be costly for the AFC.

The recent positions taken by APNU in parliament does not finds favor with the members of the coalition group, recently David Hinds were very vocal about certain stance APNU has took, many are now wondering, if the other party members that made up the PNC lead APNU are afraid to share their views, because of the recall legislation, that the leader of APNU list now possess.

Dude quit the bull shit. Sam hinds is the most manipulated uncle tom in history all because of his skin color.

The PPP gerrymandered the constitutional power three times so that lap dog would not become president. You can take that to the bank. The PPP conveniently forget their bias and their own internal stench but the rest of us still smell it.

Stupid man, the question is about the pot calling the kettle black. What they did to the house boy is no less than the PNC do to their associates ie use technicalities to create categories of membership with hierarchical rights so limit t heir authority.

Unfortunately, the PPP are the worse violates since the deliberately circumvented our line of succession by playing footsie with the constitution. They used the letter of the law to circumvent the spirit of law and the nice house negro  went along with it saying in response, "massa, we happy"

APNU MP falls victim to own party’s thirst for power â€ĶRichard Allen forced to resign from sick bed so APNU can retain one seat dictatorshipPDFPrintE-mail

The People’s Progressive Party(PPP) sees the hasty recall of PNC/APNU Parliamentarian Richard Allen as a sign of the character of the opposition that we have in this country.
It reveals the ruthless nature of the

PNC/APNU as being vicious, unsympathetic and cruel, according to a statement from the People’s Progressive Party.
Mr. Allen fell ill while attending Parliament a few days ago. The action taken by the PNC/APNU demonstrates that the party, even though operating with a changed name, has actually retained all its negative traits, the PPP says.
“This unsympathetic act is another in a series of actions they have been undertaking to the detriment of our people and nation. At the moment, we see then undermining all the traditions of Parliament to suit their own agenda.  Now they are resisting the consideration of the Budget Estimates from the day after the debate to a much later time. This is merely to facilitate them in mobilising their members in Parliament against the measures in the budget.
“It is hard to anticipate what they would cut, since a wide cross-section of the Guyanese society has pronounced positively on the budget.
“During the debate, the opposition AFC/APNU speakers have not made any serious argument against the budget measures.  The only thing they say is that they will cut the budget, irrespective of the effects it will have on our citizens and their development.
PNC/APNU MP Richard Allen is the latest victim of an opposition obsessed with power.”
And Speaker of the National Assembly, Raphael Trotman, yesterday announced in the House that A Partnership for National Unity’s Richard Allen has resigned from his post as a Member of Parliament in the Assembly effective last Friday, April 5.
Trotman related that Allen’s resignation therefore means that his seat in the National Assembly has become vacant and advised that, that seat is to be filled by a person whose name is to be extracted from the list of candidates from which Allen’s name was originally extracted.
