What steps should Romney take to put the US economy back on track and how should he go about creating jobs for the millions of unemployed and the 42 million Americans now on food stamps ?

Unfortunately, Obama WILL be elected. Romney is wishy-washy, Obama has outdone the Republicans. They barked up too many wrong trees to now climb down. Obama's "long" game worked and the Republicans were too dumb and caught up is extreme Right propaganda to have seen it. Romney cannot distance himself from the Primary where he tried to cochore the extreme Right and is now screwed. When dumb asses like Trump could dominate the headlines, who needs an enemy. This immigration move has sealed it for Obama and now every time they (Reps) talk, they look like jokers.
It's Obama until 2016 and we have to be contented with mediocre economic performance and weak leadership. With Obama being out for a new term, maybe we get a few good, smart Republicans to chose from.
Now that we are sure that Obama will not be re-elected...........

I agree, unfortunately the Reps have made a mess for themselves and now have themselves to blame. Romney is an insincere guy, he hardly give a straight answer and switches sides to suit the audience. They shot themselves in the foot and will have to limp with it. Obama may not be the strongest and best leader, but sure as hell he outwitted them. This is one of the few times I really did not like any of the Rep candidates. I did have some hope in Perry, but....
