NSC sponsor medals for GAPF RAW Nationals

Fitness Express and Trophy Stall also on board
The National Sports Commission (NSC) has agreed to supply all the medals that will be awarded at the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) RAW National Championships which will be contested this Sunday at the Saints Stanislaus College Auditorium, Brickdam.
According to the federation, the NSC has always been supportive of its competitions and they are grateful for its continued show of confidence.
Athletes will be seeking to out-lift each other in the following categories: Female â 47kg Open, 47kg Sub Jr., 72kg Open, 72kg Jr., 85kg Open.
Male â 53kg Jr., 53kg Open, 59kgOpen, 66kg Jr., 66kg Open, 74kg Open, 83kg Sub Jr., 83kg Jr., 83kg Open, 93kg Open, 105kg M2, 105kg Open, 120kg M1, 120kg Open.
The federation has also indicated that long time corporate supporter Fitness Express is also on board again as well as The Trophy Stall.
Around 30 athletes including 7 females will be on show many of which were part of the history making team that competed at the 16th Annual NAPF/FESUPO Pan-American Powerlifting Championships; 15th Annual NAPF North American Regional Powerlifting Championships and 32nd Annual FESUPO South American Powerlifting Championships in Orlando, Florida back in July.
Weigh-in time next Sunday is 07:00hrs with the first flight of lifters set to hit the platform two hours later.
