Restaurant, hotel for gleaming Camp Street buildingRestaurant, hotel for gleaming Camp Street buildingRestaurant, hotel for gleaming Camp Street building

New Thriving Restaurant is set for a major expansion with a new eatery and hotel to be opened in the early months of 2014 and to be located in the spanking new five-storey edifice located at the corner of Camp and Lamaha streets.

The gleaming new building appears to have been finished some months back and was awaiting a tenancy deal.

The building has evoked much interest because of its modern architecture and distinctive atrium. Its owners have remained in the background of what is a large investment.

A manager at New Thriving Restaurant, Qiyuan Zhang, told this newspaper yesterday.

I hope nobody come here and say thiefing business build this five story building. It's people sweat from cooking and selling food. Mitwah, I remember you were asking about the stalls at Rosignal Stelling. This is an example of what I was saying. People are in business to do better, to grow and to expand and put more people to work. If a man is selling fish and bread for twenty years and still remain the same, he needs to get out of business because he's doing something wrong.

All the girls that working @ Thriving needs to be in school. Making change to customers is the first thing one should know before taking a waitress job. When you lose a customer for $10 bucks, you can never grow your business into a mega success like in Guyana. Those girls never impress me the least. There is a learning lesson for all of us here.

VERY NICE!!!

Day by day, the good people of Guyana see more and more progress in their beautiful country.

The private sector continues to show great confidence in Guyana and remains the engine of continued growth.

Of course the AFC/PNC and their loutish supporters will find something to BLAME & COMPLAIN about.

Are the drains in front of the building clean? Is the traffic light in front of this building where I have to pass hundreds time working?
