I guess the idea is to bring supporters from PPP and PNC.

It is about time a new party emerge. Here's hoping this party does not go the way of AFC.

AFC has made it bad for new parties to get recognition and respect. After three years in the works, people watch, observe and learn and hope to rise again. Guyanese shouldn't give up a rising party who wants to give them an alternative choice. There is always room for another. With the PNC/PPP as the two big players, Guyanese need a new third party to cut in the middle. One that can reach out to all the people and break the racial barrier between the PNC/PPP. 

A difference with a new party would be "New Members" not the old crows who should all be put out to pasteur. They come with too much baggage.

We need to hear DNC's platform and who they have in their camp with business acumen and sound qualities.

From what I can gather he is an Economist...worked for Bank of Guyana and has a book out on Bringing Guyana into the 21st century. I don't do Facebook.

Only dreamers speak about third force being the solution to our political and economic problems. As long as the PNC is around the problem of unity will forever plague us.

The PPP did nothing for us. They are rethreads with no new proposals to date and were they to go back in it would be more of the jagdeoite narco kleptocracy.

A third force is what Tool the PPP out and what controlled their avarice in the Duck's government. It can do the same here with the APNU by transfroming this ethnic based party duopoly from a zero sum game to one with options.

I do not know this party or its principals. I also refuse to squint to read the platform. Good sense should leave it as a download. However I wish him luck. My hope is RISE  decide to run as a party. If that is their intentions they ought to be more vocal and start organize now. They need four seats to make a difference. with any minority government in talking office.

The PPP restored the dignity of our people, especially the Amerindians who received titles to thousands of hectares of land.  For you to say the PPP did nothing for us is complete shame. Guyana was in the pits in 1992 when the PPP entered office.  Hard work and great sacrifices were made to rebuild the economy and the infra-structure.  What you see today is heaven compared to what it was in the years of the KABAKA and the other rasta, Hoyte.  Quit the new habit of lying about the PPP did nothing and be a good Guyanese. Too many ingrates in our land. Don't add to the problem.
