PPP Press Statement
The Alliance For Change (AFC) will hold its Congress tomorrow December 6,2014 amid deep organisational and leadership crisis.
The Congress was scheduled for earlier in the year but was abruptly called off after its unsuccessful attempt to remove the People Progressive Party/Civic from office by way of a no confidence motion.
It is clear that the AFC is at sea when it comes to assessing the mood of the Guyanese people and strategizing on the way forward for the country.
Being a new kid politically on the block and having regard to the nature of its formation the Party lacked any real ideological grounding or sense of direction. It is evident why its reaction to issues are eclectic if not confused driven more by hate rather than promoting the national good.
The Congress is taking place at a time when the Party is experiencing one of its worst organizational crisis since it was formed.

An A.F.C government is not possible in this lifetime, its time the goons of that political gathering stop wishful thinking.
