It was so revealed by the various media outlets, in Guyana, that the gov't will be collecting 900 million in taxes from the oil industry.

It is my fervent hope that my fellow Guyanese will benefit.  Guyana's cash strapped economy needs roads, schools and hospitals, just to mention a few things that will improve the lives of such a poor down trodden country.

Let's hope for some transparency in the oil revenue. 

Wishful thinking at best; PNC goons at the trough is tragic news !
