One dead, two injured in Nandy Park shooting
[www.inewsguyana.com] – A miner is now dead while his fiancÉ and 18-months-old son nursing bullet wounds to their bodies after gunmen opened fire on them through a window of their Nandy Park, East Bank Demerara (EBD) home.
According to a police release, the shooting took place at 1:40hrs on Sunday June 21. Police say shots were discharged through the bedroom window of the home of Travis Rudder, hitting him and his fiancÉ Mawanza Gill and his one year six months old son Travis Rudder Jnr. to their bodies.
They were taken to the hospital where 26-year-old Rudder was pronounced DOA, while Gill and the toddler have been admitted.
Police investigations are in progress.
