One dead, two injured in smash up
[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty-two year-old Abdool Ameer of No. 2 Village, West Canje, Berbice is the Guyana’s latest road fatality.
Ameer was driving a motor car along the roadway, on Friday May 15 when he attempted to overtake another vehicle and collided with motor vehicle PSS 529 that was travelling in the opposite direction.
He received multiple injuries and was subsequently taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, 38 year-old Melissa D’Aguair-Pollard, and her 2 year-old daughter who were in PSS 529 sustained injuries.
They were taken to the Fort Wellington Hospital, treated and are reportedly in a stable condition.
