Is Jagdeo going to give up his Indian passport?

If Jagdeo has an Indian passport I bet he never raised his hand and swore allegiance. I believe Indian passport has no effect on Guyana since Indo-Guyanese are descendants of India.

Many Indians came from what is now Bangla Desh and Pakistan. You just have to look at how backwards they are compared to the genuine Indians.

Utter hogwash and pure brainless ignorance.

.Workers for plantations in Mauritius, Suriname, Trinidad, and Fiji were mainly recruited from the present-day states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. In Guyana and East Africa, laborers originated primarily from Punjab and Gujarat. Given the proximity of Tamil Nadu to French possessions in India like Pondicherry, the workers in most French coloniesβ€”such as Guadeloupe, Martinique, and La Reunionβ€”were Tamils and almost all male.

That statement is incorrect .

Can you prove it? I have documented source to prove my point. My mother's parents came from Gujarat and my father from Northern India(includes Pakistan), Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan.

Not because your ancestors, came from there the majority are from there. I do have information, it's too large to post here.

Please take a look at the map of India  where , Bihar , Madras [Tamil Nadu] and Calcutta [Kolkata] are, you will get an idea. Also there are information on the net, where majority of Indian Indentured Immigrants originates from.

The Indian workers were taken from regions where the locals had equivalent skills to the former slaves that they were replacing. That means cane cutting, rice farming, and cotton harvesting. Skelly seems to have had forefathers who embellished the info in their CV in order to escape poverty in Asia.

They went and made an honest living and paved the way for people like us in NA. As I said, I am eternally grateful that they migrated from India to British Guiana. They made an honest living there and their descendants continue to work hard and carry on their traits.

My grandfather told my older brother(was his oldest grandson and they spent a lot of time together) that he came from Mathura, India. I looked this up after I got my DNA results.

Now tell what's the huge difference between the two underlined words ?
