There are differing response to the same thing. Many are angry that the PNC did not do half of what the PPP did yet they are deemed to have monumental infractions sufficiently so that an Indian saint had to make an appearance. I do not think good will come of this. I think each  side will harden their ranks and seek to win the state as an ethnic prize as usual.  Who ever wins will want ot eke out retributive justice against their sense of victimiZation. We are in for hard times ahead.

Dumb ass, he was one I knew at 20 in school for a summer. 25 years later he as a powerful politician got caught up in misuse of campaign fund scheme. Wow. We may actually able to get along. I feel we need to get rid of the system, where MPs are chosen from a list and replace it with the constituency system.  And the vote, should be done by ballot, which might get rid of the "yes men" and allow the MPs to vote by their conscience. There is always the risk of rigging.

This is because you are conditioned to accept the 100 percent carry of every bill put forward by the administration. In our system the majority always wins so  with the introduction of a 3 party there are checks and all 100 percent that would have passed without dissent gets vetted. Some gets rejected. I am sure the idea of allocating money secretly for a hotel ( that still loses money today) would not occur where there are checks. And t hat is one of a hundred things I wished someone was there to stop.

Same system here in the us,  congress votes for the package, not line items. Look at the govt shutdown because of the border wall. Until individual line items can be made optional without affecting the entire package of bills, these scenarios will continue to play out.
