The death of Nelson Mandela was a great opportunity for the government
of Guyana to show that it was serious about reconcilliation in Guyana. The
government could have invited one of Corbin or Granger to attend the funeral
with the president but they blew it. They are too self centered to think of others, vindictive or just stupid. Shame on them.

What exactly is there to reconcile? Many of you have not been to Guyana in decades, yet you come to this board and shoot crap. You go to Guyana and you will be surprised how integrated the society have become under the PPP. It is only the politicians who continue to play to racial bias in society.

* Ramotar did the right thing in not taking losers Corbin and Granger with him.
* Like I said to GNI's Mohandas Gandhi---poster Cobra---as long as East Indians and Afros live in Guyana----they will never trust each other---and therefore there will never, ever be racial harmony.
* It was a wise political move by Ramotar to leave Granger and Corbin at home.
* Having said that---Indians and blacks live very peacefully in Guyana---it's only around election time the mistrust boils over.
