Granger, that he and President Donald Ramotar will meet tomorrow to speak about the way forward since the recently issued advisory by the Caribbean Financial Task Force (CFATF), may be far from the truth.
CFATF in its advisory called on its members to consider implementing further counter measures to protect their financial systems from the ongoing money laundering and terrorist financing risks emanating from Guyana.
Failure to pass the legislation, the Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Bill, on required deadlines, has left the regional body with no choice but to refer Guyana to its parent body, the Financial Action Task Force, which can see Guyana being possibly blacklisted on the international level.
The release by the Office of the President said, “President Donald Ramotar wishes to inform that the Monday meeting as disclosed to the media by Brigadier David Granger between President Donald Ramotar and the Leader of the Opposition is for the constitutionally mandated consultation for the reconstitution of the Service Commissions.”
However, yesterday, Granger said, “I sent a letter to President Donald Ramotar on May 24, and he acknowledged it with a letter on May 29.  In paragraph two of that very letter it says, ‘Allow me to reconfirm the administration’s intention to engage the Parliamentary Opposition, A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) and the Alliance For Change (AFC) in the proposed compromised talks to address the enactment of the CFATF compliant Anti Money Laundering Bill.’”

Ramu call Granja a LIAR!

One of the goals of Granger (as recently stated in NY) is to seek a unity Govt.  If this is a meeting in that direction, everyone should stand behind the move.  Of course personalities like KishanB aka Sase and others will not like that.  The current stalemate, disruption and politically vindictive atmosphere in Guyana is fertile ground for some sick minds.  It gives them relevance and a cause while most just want peace and make a decent living and care for their families.

I hope and wish the best outcome in the meeting of these two minds.

Mr Granger is talking about unity indeed. We have to wait and see how he will win PNC congress. 

He is walking a thin line, but that's why he is called "leader".  His task though is tough given the 90% Afro-centric racists that is the PNC congress.  The dream of Afro supremacy is alive and well in their hearts.

Mr. Granja will win the P_NC congres.  Greenidge right now sending his resume out to international agencies, he tired of the PNC.

Harmon, will keep a low profile after Granja shut him out of the NY trip with the East Indian financiers.  He was not invited to any of the private meeting with Mike Persaud or Freddie and Sandra Shivdat.

So Harmon is also working on Plan B.

The PNC will be very weak by 2016 and the PPP will win again.
