I get the feeling that Django purpose for his Discussion Forum question was to establish that there are not really discussions on GNI but rather personal attacks. Unfortunately, Django is also involved in these personal attacks. I am no saint and don't claim to be nor do I ask anyone to behave in any particular manner nor do I criticize them for the manner in which they behave so I feel at liberty to do as I wish as long and as much as the ADMIN will allow me to. But Django is putting himself in a peculiar position because he would like posters to behave in a particular manner but still find himself behaving like this. It is a very unenviable position you have embarked on bai and you are not doing a good job at it.

Each party has the SOPs And did their own counting the night of the election.  They all know the election results. The process of GECOM is only to make it official. It's called the verification process.

The Opposition Leader is filing an injunction to have the court order a recount. All he is doing is preventing GECOM from making a fraudulent declaration. The APNU has filed an injunction to avoid a recount. The big question is why are they so afraid to have the votes counted.

In Florida's Gubernatorial elections in 2018, the difference between the two candidates was close so they did a manual recount. No winner was announced until that recount was done.

The situation in Guyana does not even involve an innocent miscount and recount directive. Mingo's behavior was fraudulent as determined by the CJ. He is lucky he is not currently sitting in some lockup right now.

The votes have already been counted and the results are posted on the GECOM website.  Have a look.

They are afraid of the recount because the numbers on Mingo false declaration will not match. The result will clearly show GECOM is not an independent body and people going to jail. Plain and simple
