Despite not being officially released by the Government the Linden Commission of Inquiry (COI) report has found its way in the public domain via several opposition aligned news entities. The report was yesterday handed over to President Donald Ramotar by Commission Chairman Lensly Wolfe who promised to make it available to the public after studying it. In the Stabroek News online edition which published the report in its entirety the commission said that APNU Parliamentarians Sharma Solomon, Vanessa Kissoon and Desmond Trotman must take blame for the violence and loss of lives which took place following the protest.

"Mr. Sharma Solomon is the Chairman for the Regional Democratic Council Region 10 which includes Linden the person who made the application for permission to stage β€œa peaceful march”. When questioned he said it did not occur to him that blocking of the Bridge was in breach of the permission which was granted to hold a peaceful march." the report said.

The commission said "This is indicative of the attitude of the organisers of the protest and they must accept some responsibility for what subsequently transpired on the 18th July, 2012 at Linden."

APNU must be responsible for the death, injuries and losses that happen before and after the Linden riot. Why Gerhard of AFC was there with Benschop is another story.

The Commission of Inquiry blamed organizers and politicians for the escalation of tension on that fateful day by failing to advise the protesters to obey police orders by a loudhailer and a banner to remove from the bridge. Those named are Region 10 Chairman, Sharma Solomon and other politicians- Aubrey Norton, Vanessa Kissoon and Desmond Trotman. β€œWhat transpired on the Bridge on July 18, 2012 could have been avoided if some of the influential Community persons had intervened and advised the protestors to display due respect for the law.”

Eleven month wasted, money wasted, properties were damaged, and innocent lives lost, all because the organizers failed to follow instruction. APNU & AFC are good at running down a country. The COI report exposed these creeps to the fullest. Granger haven't made a statement as yet, neither the AFC. What is taking them so long? Stormborn is a jackass for saying it all started because the police shoot into the crowd. This guy speak from both sides of his mouth. First he was defending the law and now he is defending criminals like Benschop. This whole thing stared to bring down Rohee and the PPP government by rioting, killing and burning down properties.

Hey panty man: Time to stop pretending. Come out and unleash your inner gay.

Your obsession with the male genitals and women's clothes is a clear indication that you are on this board to seek out a partner. So far, no luck. Not going to happen; try somewhere else.

The Police were the only ones found guilty of killing the protestors.

From the COI report -

Determine whether the shooting to death of the persons was done by the police detachment on the bridge and if so determined, inquire who gave the order to fire and whether the police had justification for the use of lethal force at thescene.

From these factors, one can therefore reasonably conclude that the fatal shooting was done by the Police.

Summary

We believe that the police were responsible for the shooting to death of the three deceased as well as the injuries caused to several other persons at Linden on July 18, 2012
