How can you teach old dogs new tricks?

When these people lost their jobs, they went fishing in the Atlantic, and then they tend to their kitchen gardens at home. They are self-sufficient. Some of them opened cake shops and sell beers and cigarettes. Some, run shops.

Are you that stupid?  The vacancy board is now. What I posted was after the plant was closed.  When the plant opens up again, more business will surface.  

In the other sugar estates, the cane cutters didn't wait around for handouts from the Coalition Government, they created their own employment opportunities.
