Moses Veerasammy Nagamootoo was born on 30th November, 1947. He was elected to Parliament in 1992 as a PPP MP, and served as Minister of Information and Minister of Local Government. He remained in Cabinet under the presidencies of Cheddi Jagan, Samuel Hinds, Janet Jagan and Bharrat Jagdeo.

He resigned as Minister in 2000 but remained an MP until 2011 when he resigned from the People's Progressive Party, having first joined in 1964.

Moses was just testing the waters. He achieved what he set to do, made the PPP jittery. The man is a seasoned politician. Unfortunately for him, the Jagans had his baltzs in their hands. But he is free now. Just watch him mek mince meat wid the PPP headmen. The Jagans had their baltzs in them hands as well, now their jhumbies holding onto the same baltzs. Moses going to mek CBJ tighten his grip, bcz CBJ loved Moses and Moses consider him to be his mentor.

Moses is the most electable candidate in Guyana and I believe he will put this motion in Parliament.  But it will not happen before OCTOBER 2014.
