I think you are wrong here bai. From all reports on GNI, Jagdeo and Varshnie were never legally married. Maro wedding is not the same as a marriage certificate.

What happens if Jagdeo becomes President again. Would that stop his current pension and then subject him to the new rules?

If they were not legally married then there cannot be a divorse. Jagdeo was very generous to give his common law wife $7 million.
