Kaz, you are correct and I agree but we are only hearing one side of this allegation. The timing is this claim is also very suspect and could have political motives as well.

I wasn't there bai but if it is true that the man was drunk and disrespected the deceased, the pandit was right to kick his ass out. But that was back in 2013 and Ali was Minister of Housing not Home Affairs so the arrest was not his ministry. The pandit should also be focusing on the illegal behavior of the Coalition who are currently squatting illegally in office.

This story got too many twists and turns. Nevertheless, as I read it, the uncle of Irfan attended a funeral under the influence and misbehaved and as a result was ejected. Nothing wrong wid dat.

How the heck do you get that and some of these people here don't? You are one of the fair posters here, even though you might lean toward PPP.

So wait, PNC is scraping the bottom of the barrel from 2013 ? Dem rass really in trouble.

Excellent observation. How come the Pandit is not condemning the PNC for illegally squatting in office for over a year and Granger raping the constitution starting  from his illegal appoint of Patterson ?

Dis Hassa curry pandit acting worse than a hypocrite.

Similarly I have never liked the PNC and they seem unable to give me any reason to doubt myself.

Can't stand them either. Said it here before. Guyana needs something fresh. New.

Someone mentioned that you are related to Irfaart Ali Baba.

Seems like you still hearing jumbie noises.

If this story is true, it shows what a dastardly chap this Ali is.  As an act of revenge it would seem, he went to extreme lenghts to make this pandit life miserable just because his uncle got

out of a yard due to bad behavior and being under the influence. Further, his attempt to falsify medical records to show that his uncle got injured is another example of how low he is willing to stoop.

Holy sheet! Here we talking just a couple days ago about how dem PNC neanderthals who does swing in trees (according to one banna here) does this and now we read is not only them, even PPP people does get drunk up and carry on bad at finerals.

Ye old man of little memory, 2013 was not an election year and he was not there to get votes. You sure this was what transpired? I hope this pandit did not plan on running away with someone's younger wife and he got caught. I would have pulled down his dhoti and let him run away.
