Bristol passed away last Saturday evening in the Bronx where he was residing with his family for the past twenty years. He was ailing the past two years. Bristol was very active in the political life of Guyana since the early sixties and was a welder by profession. He worked on the Demerara Harbour bridge. Churchill, is he from Parika area EBE ?
The name Bristol sounds familiar.
He was originally from the EBE . Lived in Parika for some time.
inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
So sad to hear of Bristol's passing. I knew he was ill for some time but this is sad news. I always had very engaging conversations with Bristol on Guyana's politics. Over time he became disillusioned with the ACG in New York and the transformation of the PPP that he knew.
My deepest condolences to Bristol's surviving family.
