Patentia, Goed Fortuin, Wales and La Retraite Primary Schools registered victories when the Guyana Cricket Board Scotiabank Kiddy cricket competition continued recently at Belle Vue, West Demerara.
Goed Fortuin Primary batted first and scored 102-11 off their allotted 14 overs against Patentia. Vishwanauth Hardeo made 24 and Andel Austin 13; Vamich Thomas and Shaquille Sealey took two wickets each. Patentia Primary responded with 103-3 in 10.3 overs. Kvist Paul got 48 not out and Nyron Granville 16. Goed Fortuin Primary rattled up 139-7, taking first knock, while Two Brothers Primary replied with 88-9. Goed Fortuin Primary posted 189-4, batting first. Andell Austin stroked 51, while Sampson Jones made 44, Ashawn Charles 26 and Vaishwanauth Hardeo 12. La Grange were bowled out for 109 in 10 overs in reply. Amir Samson made 27 and Robindra Singh 11. Alisha Mangal and Annalise Gangaram had two wickets each. La Retriate Primary managed 81-11, taking first knock. Mark Poorama made 30; Angelica Allen and Aruna Lall took two wickets each. Wales Primary replied with 84-3 in 7.2 overs. Lokeshwar Looknauth made 37 and Divesh Singh 24. N. Tappin had two wickets. Goed Fortuin Primary got to 158-6, taking first knock. Christopher Deochand got 45 and Ashawn Charles 38; Vickram Deonarine claimed 2-8. Kawall Primary were limited to 123-7 in reply. Trashawn Wilson made 37, Saif Zaman 14 and Vimal Persaud 13.
