I just read a few chapters of Path to Freedom by Conrad Taylor on Google reads. It looks like a very good book by a brilliant Guyanese soldier. Has anyone read it?. Does anyone know how I can buy a copy of this book?

Splendid book. Taylor's memoir revealed one of the dirty vengeful aspects of Burnham's rule. Well written. I bought a digital copy from Amazon.ca about 5-6 years ago. You can read it with a Kindle app.
Amazon. com has it:
https://www.amazon.com/Path-Fr...195AL&ref=plSrch
Read the "Product Description" for summary & review.

Gill, both of us lived thru Burnham rule and can give first hand information during that period. We knew what it was like having political and other connections.
I Will get a copy of the Book, to make a comparison of writers experience and my experience.
Thanks folks. Taylor would have made an excellent head of the Guyana Defence Force when PPP was in power.

That GDF Officer Conrad Taylor took a hard direct hit. The irony is that he came from a family very very close to Burnham personally.
Looks like PNC may have had some serious hate for Conrad.
