The hypocrisy with Muslims who complains about how others treat them and when they have a chance to demonstrate that they will be different, they don't. Instead they act in ways worse than they complain of. When Muslims commit these hideous acts, it kills any advocacy that one may feel toward Muslim needs and plights. I don't see how this is any less horrible than what we saw in Palestine some weeks ago.

I guess it was because of ISIS the US was no longer interested in toppling the Assad regime in Syria.  I re-called an interview with Charlie Rose and Bashar Assad in which the Syrian president charged that the anti-Syrian rebels were killing the innocent in the most gruesome manner and in some cases eating the hearts and livers of their victims. Charlie Rose was still not disturbed by what Assad was saying because was so much into shedding light on the wrong-doings of the Syrian regime.

Obama took his eyes off the ball and we got ISIS.

The Problem with the US not supporting any faction against Assad is they were all vile degenerates with macabre beliefs. There was no clearly identifiable faction that was amenable to the values held by the west.
