I think the AFC has made inroads into the PPP voting base.....the word from the ground reveals that many are afraid to openly support the AFC because of fear of losing their jobs etc.....
Many of us are using the attendances at the political rallies as a barometer of political support for specific parties.....this form of analysis has the potential of being misleading because many usually attend the rallies for the entertainment and freebees.....especially the PPP rallies !
There is a problem of growing corruption,nepotism,crime etc and the Jagdeo/Ramouthar clique is not adequately addressing these issues.....
They are spending a lot of time in the character assasination game against those who speak out against them.....

The same is being said on the Essequibo coast, Supernaam, Aurora, Suddie, Vilvorden, Regina, Charity, etc....
Many people with connections with government offices/hospitals are taking the free gifts and attending PPP meetings to safeguard their jobs, but most will not vote for the PPP, because of what they see happening internally and feel it will get much worst under Ramotar, with Jagdeo still in control.
