Civil Engineer, Walter Willis on Wednesday said the decision was taken because the residents were not engaged before hand.
“If the stakeholders have concerns and we didn’t engage them, we are at fault and the only way I tried to correct that is to say we’ll stop, we will withdraw the equipment and everything and then we will get into a huddle and probably engage the people,” he told Demerara Waves Online News (www.demwaves.com).
