Pastor Prince Andrew Hannibal who preaches at a Rosignol, West Bank Berbice (WBB) Church, and had been fingered for allegedly having sexual relations with an under-aged female was placed on $200,000 bail today.

He had made his first court appearance on February 2 where he was slapped with a rape charge and was remanded to prison until today’s hearing.

Hannibal who resides at lot 13 Railway Line, Rosignol, WBB, found himself in hot water after allegedly being caught in an ‘unacceptable position’ with an underage schoolgirl.

Reports are that the minor with whom he was caught is receiving counselling from welfare officers attached to the Social Protection Ministry.

INews had also been informed that Hannibals’ name was submitted as the candidate seeking election to the Council of Zeelust/Rosignol for constituency number eight (8) in the upcoming Local Government Elections (LGE) on behalf of the A Partnership for National Unity/ Alliance For Change (APNU/AFC).
