Peter Ramsaroop detained for 8 hours by Police

“They started out with questions such as which political party I am affiliated with, what is my role in the political parties of Guyana. And then they went on to other questions in relation to the Canadians and then questions about me, personally,” he outlined.
“From the beginning of the first question, which was ‘which political party I am affiliated with’, I realised that this is political harassment…to get me in there to intimidate me,” Dr Ramsaroop noted.
After he refused to answer questions, the political adviser said he was left there for hours without being offered something to eat or drink.

Ramsaroop should write to the ABCE and inform them of this act of intimidation.

Are you referring to Peter D'Aguair from UF ?

Some really bad things happened in Guyana's political history but we cannot deny that PNC committed the bulk of the offence.

I have consistently called for a truth commission but politicians in Guyana are afraid of one.

Jagdeo has no moral standing to complain about this.  He needs to understand that while he is your Lord, he isnt Lord Almighty.  That is why the PPP should have dumped him and gotten someone with better moral standing.  But you all like thugs so this is what you get.  Thuggery in exchange.

That’s what Peter Ramsaroop said in the days when he was at war with the PPP and they torched his building. That was before they charged him for peeping on the young girl who was his tenant at the time.

Perhaps you are forgetting how Jagdeo outsmarted the entire Coalition group including Granger with the NVM. 

The PNC aren't about wits or smarts. They are about being bullies whether in government or in opposition. The PNC have always been crooked and have always squatted illegally in government. All indications are that they intend to do the same again.
