The ruling was written in simple language. Adrian Saunders went to great pain in making it as simple as possible after lamenting that the 4 months that have elapsed since the elections was grossly unacceptable. He even highlighted the way forward which is for the CEO to follow the Chairperson's initial order to prepare his report based on the quantitative value of the recount. “It is for GECOM to ensure the CEO submits a report in accordance with its direction of June 16 in order to proceed along the path directed by the laws of Guyana,” President of the CCJ Justice Adrian Saunders stated in delivering the judgement of the Court. That is the only implication from the ruling. The Coalition Commissioners can't be so much less informed than the regular joe who understood perfectly when is the next step.

The Coalition has reached the end of their road and they would be well advised to inform their supporters of that reality instead of keep falsely building up their expectations. They will have this same meeting tomorrow. If that is not deemed the second scheduled meeting counting today it will be the scheduled one and on Saturday another meeting will be called to have that declaration made.

Sorry to inform you - but this is going back to the courts.

Bai, if Rochelle, Mitwah and Tota can't understand, then how can you expect those wicked PNC SOB commissioners to behave ? Those PNC commissioners are worse than uncivilized animals, they don't belong to modern and civl society.

PNC ran out of courts.

ABC is now running out of patience. They will wipe out the Tin Dictator and his illegal and wicked Cabal. No more thugs and dictators in Guyana.

Noriega will have a new cell mate.

Ow Ballahu Brahmin, is why yuh getting yuh dhoti in knots? PPP got less than 51% of the votes according to the recount.

Acting Assistant Secretary for U.S. Department of State’s Burea.u of Western Hemisphere Affairs, Michael Kozak

United States (US) Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Michael Kozak on Wednesday called on the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) to declare results of the March 2, 2020 general and regional elections based on the national vote recount.

“The Caribbean Court has ruled. It’s time for GECOM to declare the winner of Guyana’s election based on the national vote recount. The will of Guyana’s voters cannot be ignored,” Kozak said hours after the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) threw out the Guyana Court of Appeal’s ruling that “more votes cast” means “more valid votes cast”.

How soon is soon. Any information on when the case will be filed?

All I will say is the PPP/C utilizing the same courts to prevent or force GECOM to declare. APNUAFC is prepared to do same.

The courts will continue to be utilized to prevent a declaration from either side.

Best the courts decide on this, once and for all, and nullify the elections.

CCJ did not and cannot make a determination on what to declare. Only GECOM is empowered with such.
