I don't think these people care about or understand the word sanctions. Remember it was Volda who said let it come. sometimes people needs to think before they talk.

They will feel and understand sanctions in due course. They will learn bitter lessons like the Venezuelan people.

The stereotypes are truly astounding.  This is at the heart of the problems in Guyana and with racism generally.  PPP/C supporters is code for Indians and they "tie dey belly" and bounce back etc.  None of this true.  For example, if it were true that Indians are so hardy how is that the suicide rate among IndGuyanese is among the highest in the world?
