The Linden PNC Committee on Monday confirmed our earlier report that is was Amna Ally who was behind Vanessa Kissoon's parliamentary back bench demotion. The group currently in a dispute with party leader David Granger over his handling of a matter involving member of parliament Kissoon and General Secretary, Oscar Clarke, issued a release on Monday in which it highlighted a host of concerns. Among those were claims that Granger and a group under his control has had it in for Kissoon for some time now. To buttress its point the Linden Committee pointed to a an ultimatum given by Ally to Granger which it said was overheard by others. Ally allegedly told the leader that its either he get rid of Kissoon or she(Ally) goes. The group said the PNC parliamentary chief whip's vexation stemmed from Kissoon's demand that she be spoken to with respect. Ally is known to be very arrogant and at times disrespectful in her interactions with party members. The group said immediately after Ally's ultimatum Kissoon was moved to the back bench without prior notification.

This kind of pettiness is exactly the narrow minded behavior you see in people like Jagdeo.
The PNC needs to demonstrate more class, leadership and common sense rather than get into petty nonsense like this. They like the AFC need to rise above this kind of petty behavior it is destructive.

Amna Ally is the chief whip of the party. The Chief Whip is like a warrant officer. It is the chief whip's job to keep members in line.

Wallace there is a difference between keeping people in line and being petty.
A solid leader needs to know how to win over these young turks not drive them out through isolation. Balls strokers are a dime a dozen ask Tyrone.
