PNC supporters fret over how APNU is depicted on coalition symbol

The symbol of the PNC/APNU and AFC coalition which is scheduled to contest the upcoming elections as one party has evoked plenty of discussion among supporters of the PNC on social media. It is a combination of the AFC’s key and the APNU’s hand and appeared today on the Facebook pages of several leading opposition figures. PNC/APNU supporters are disturbed that the Key is larger than the hand on the logo and the hand, which represents the PNC/APNU, is inside of the key.

Irate PNC supporters also said it sends the wrong signal and points to a view that the coalition’s agenda is being driven by the AFC. Some pointed to the numerous concessions which the PNC/APNU had to give to the much smaller AFC which had initially demanded the leadership. One young PNC supporters said the PNC appears desperate and warned that it will soon die.

Vote PNC, the goodie man party and you will be rewarded with a hand jo* for doing so.

PNC will also ring your goadie bell under the palm tree.

You also get a free scale for weighing your goadie.

Seriously, what a stupid symbol.

Conscience, thanks but no-thanks for expressing concern over the APNU-AFC logo.

FYI, a key cannot turn by itself. A hand has to turn it. The APNU hand is exactly where it must be.

And, Conscience, that 62-year-old PPP enamel cup belongs to the museum. Worry about a modern replacement.

The PPP are so ignorant of black people that they flop when they play that race card to scare them.

While there might be a few PNC die hards who oppose the alliance because they fear that they will have to compete with the AFC for plum jobs, I hardly think that the average PNC supporters care.  They know that the PNC can only win if the Indian vote is split.  They also know that they aren't able to do so.

The PNC has imagined that they have some measure of Indian support (they suspect Muslims) which is why their intense disappointment every time they lose.  So finally they have the AFC (Indo party II) to help them win some Indian support.

So PPP play the race card aiming to enrage blacks as much as you want.  I have not heard of any evidence that blacks are angry with the coalition.  In fact I suspect that they are the group most happy with it.

It looks like a mighty lingam poised to penetrate any corrupt orifice of the PPP. If there is anything wrong with it is size as usual.

Peoples Progressive Party/Civic

remains strong and vibrant since the 1950's.

The enamel cup itself is so "50s".  Symbol of poverty and backwardness.
